Bring: electronics (laptops, phones - expensive in Belize), medications, specialty items, important documents, and personal clothing. Buy locally: furniture, kitchen items, linens, and basic appliances - available in Belize City or much cheaper in Chetumal, Mexico (3 hours from Belize City). Many expats do monthly shopping trips to Chetumal.
