- Splav (floating river clubs): Belgrade's unique contribution to nightlife culture — clubs on large floating platforms moored on the Sava and Danube; Mint, 20/44, and others operate May–October
- Savamala warehouse clubs: Belgrade's techno and electronic scene; Drugstore, Mladost, Luka Beograd — underground culture in repurposed industrial spaces
- Kafana culture: traditional tavern restaurants with live tamburica folk music; Skadarlija is the epicentre; the kafana is Belgrade's answer to the pub — all ages, all night, excellent food
